He had to know that she would not tolerate or condone his behavior any longer and as a result, he had to change his ways. He had no alternative but to do as she asked him to.
This mistress caught her classmate backbiting her and she did not like that. The mistress had to use whatever means she could to put him in his place and teach him that what he did was not good. That is why she used her shit to degrade him. He had to eat it all as he was told that it was not optional. He dropped the habit of backbiting people.
